It does not claim that anyone could accurately describe you if they knew your four letter combination. Using the MBTI to Enhance Communication by Krysty Wideen

I am about to attend a certification workshop for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), so it’s on my mind. The MBTI isn’t intended to tell you anything about yourself that you don’t already know; it just structures the information in such a way that it is accessible in everyday situations and highlights how your preferences might lead other to behave in ways that are different to the ways that you commonly behave. An area that the MBTI has helped me in during the last year and a half is in communicating effectively with others. An example I often use is how a former colleague of mine, Mike , and I managed to communicate so effectively over the year and a half that we worked together.
